District Police Departments
Quality Assurance System
The Police College has a quality assurance system that ensures unified operations of the multisectoral training institute and provides a foundation for the constant development of both education and training and research activities.
The quality assurance system of the Police College covers its organisation, allocation of responsibility, operating methods, operational processes and the direction of resources. It is used to direct the activities of the training institution in all matters related to the quality of operations and output.
The quality assurance system renders the activities of the Police College more visible and better understandable to the staff, students, stakeholders and cooperation partners.
The Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC) has audited the quality assurance system of the Police College of Finland. The institute passed the audit successfully. The audit team assessed the coverage of the quality assurance system and whether the system matches the objectives, is effective and suits its purpose.
